real parties: a sweetly sweet cupcake party

1.07.2010
I’ve been saving this birthday party for you because it’s such a fun start to the new year! The details are courtesy of Lorell of Sweetly Sweet, created for her daughter’s 2nd birthday. She designed all the paper goods herself and was inspired by other bloggers to create special details... the cupcake toppers were inspired by the Tomkat Studio, the candy buffet by Amy Atlas and the Cupcake Pops by Bakerella. The cupcake candles were handmade by a local artisan and she says they looked and smelled just like the real thing. Every detail was attended to, even the prizes and games were designed to compliment the theme. With this great effort comes great love... Lorell and her husband were not sure they could have children, so when Lorelys Maia was born it was a miracle for their entire family. And as it should be... every single birthday she has will be truly be something to celebrate.
