real parties: the wonderful world of dr. seuss

2.04.2010
This Dr Seuss party from Michelle is pure genius. She took these most lovable children’s stories and used them to inspire a magical birthday event. There are so many fantastic details that you’ll have to go to her blog So Wonderful So Marvelous directly to see the rest, but a few of my favorite touches? The red fish blue fish soap favors, ‘green’ eggs, yertle the turtles candy and the invitation itself... an original Dr Seuss story. It’s truly one of the most creative parties I’ve ever seen... and I’ve seen plenty!

What a fabulous idea and an absolutely adorable party! I'm a huge Dr. Suess fan, so I will have to keep this one in the ol' mental archives for when I have kids. :)

I just did this theme (sort of) and I am so bummed I hadn't stumbled on your green eggs beforehand! Here are my pics (since I am not a blogger):
