real parties: vintage pink ice cream party

8.26.2010
This gorgeous 3rd birthday ice cream party for Annie was sent in by photographer Susan Gentile and features paper goods from Chickabug and a banner from A to Zebra Celebrations. I've been contemplating doing an ice cream shoppe theme for Caitlin's first birthday (true, I'm a little insane to be thinking about it already seeing as she's not even 3 months old), but this is definitely some good inspiration. My favorite subtle detail here... the caramel and strawberry toppings in mason jars. Simply lovely.

This is lovely. Don't worry, I started planning my daughter's first birthday party when she was only 3 months old, too!

Thank you SO MUCH for featuring Annie's party! I loved it from the moment Annie's mom sent over that beautiful, vintage-style photo for the invitation. Then to see all the sweet details, and the fabulous photos... just too perfect! I'm so glad you like it too!! : )

This is so sweet. I've been wanting to do an ice cream party simply to do cute cone wrappers. LOL! Since I live in hot Phoenix, AZ, I guess I'll have to wait for Fall.
