real parties: sweet vintage in salmon & teal

9.09.2010
It seems I've been featuring a lot of vintage looks lately... which really only goes to show that the classics never go out of style! This party came to me from a blogging friend who wishes to remain anonymous. I just had to share a few of her party photos because the color combo is so uniquely beautiful and the handmade details like the embroidery hoops, pom garland and flowers are truly inspired. If you're as interested as I am in creating your own paper flowers, here is the link to a wonderful tutorial (and blog as it happens).

Beautiful color combination!

Not only is the color combination fabulous, but there are so many great details I love the way she used embroidery hoops to hold fabric and mixed it in with picture frames. The paper flowers are also awesome...wish I'd had those for T's birthday! Thanks for sharing!

I was wondering if anyone knows what fabric she used as I love the flower pattern. Thanks.

I love it absolutely wonderful! Just wondering where you got the color mason jars from?

For those wondering about the mason jars... she got them at the flea market, but you could probably get vintage Ball Jars on ebay!

In the top left picture on the wall, where did you find the circle decor with the material in it? Or how did you make it?
Thanks!!
