This beautiful submission comes to us from Meg of Rodeo & Co. photography. The bride to be is her best friend, as well as being a writer and creative... so the gallery setting at artstream was a perfect fit for her shower. It was an intimate gathering with plenty of homemade touches... the bride's little sister did all of the details and her mom did the food. Clearly this was a truly personalized and thoughtful event... I'm charmed.

I've been behind the mark on some of my most beloved blogs. So what before my eyes should appear, but this bit of first birthday loveliness from Sunday Suppers...

'Feathered' Pumpkin Pancakes
10.26.2011
Did you catch the feather garlands I shared yesterday? Well, one of them is being re-purposed today... as a pancake topper! Of course, you could easily use this feathered bunting as a cake topper too, but I say it's time to give breakfast a little makeover this Halloween. What do you think of that? See below for the simple & delicious pumpkin pancake recipe...

Nice: Handmade Banners & Vintage Goods
8.17.2011
Caitlin Holcomb and I met at the SF Renegade Craft Fair last month. She is the owner + crafter behind etsy shop Nice, and I fell head over heels for her vintage banners and sweet personality {fun fact: not only is her name spelled the same way as my daughter's, but as a child her nickname was 'cake'... can you say serendipitous?}. Her banners are handmade and so very happy... truly the most perfect prop for a party, baby shower, photo session or home decor. And if that wasn't enough to love, check out the rest of her shop for unique curated vintage items and other quirky crafts...
This is a sponsored post, but this review is my honest opinion of Nice. If you have a shop that you think would be a good fit for CAKE. and are interested in sponsorship, we'd love to hear from you.
