ONE TO GROW ON: Party Details

8.05.2011
I hope you've enjoyed the pictures from Caitlin's One to Grow On party so far!  A big thank you goes out to our photographer Sherry Heck for capturing all of these beautiful images... here are a few more for you.

In addition to dessert, we offered a spread of healthy snacks and beverages for our guests.  This included lemonade, fresh fruit, nuts, crostini, blue chips and veggie booty.  Above the snack table hung a monthly timeline of photos, recording some of the highlights from Caitlin's first year.

Our potting station held a chalkboard that I painted out of an old window pane- it was great to have on hand for the kids to draw and write messages.

Above one of the picnic areas hung a ribbon wind chime.  Simple to make by knotting ribbon around an embroidery hoop, it created a lovely, airy look when the breeze hit.  So pretty that I couldn't bear to take it apart, so it now hangs in Caitlin's nursery:

And in one of my favorite touches, gifts were held in a vintage radio flyer strung with paper bunting:

Last but not least, the star of the show... miss Caitlin herself.  We had so much fun letting her play with different props, and as you can see the camera loves her as much as we do!
