A Joyful Yellow + White Wedding

10.11.2011
Get ready for two gorgeous yellow parties this week.  Sofia and André, the design team behind Brancoprata in Portugal designed this stunning yellow + white wedding.  The color palette is so elegant, but pinwheels, paper pretties and a hand drawn illustration add a touch of whimsy for a modern couple.  Their friends and family even surprised them with a flash mob at the reception... jealous much?

From Brancoprata: Liliana and Luís got married last June and they choose yellow as their favorite wedding color! The starting point of this whole wedding was a drawing a friend made for them, we incorporate it in their stationery and almost all paper goods! Even their cake topper was inspired by it! At the venue we used tons of yellow details, it was a fun way to bright the dinning room!  One of the things we love the most about this wedding is the fact their friends and family got together to surprise them during their wedding day… some guests sing, one guest who is a famous magician, here in Portugal did a small show after dinner… they even got a flash mob… that’s right, a flash mob that ended up with their parents dancing on the dance floor!!  As usual (here in Portugal) guests danced all night long… some of them left the venue when the sun was rising!!! true story!
